Summary:
Directs the activity and coordinates the program allowing students to develop their interests. The Intramural Sponsor for the program reports to the athletic director and building principal.
Responsibilities:
Leadership is to be provided in the following areas:
- Is the point of contact between home school and conference locations.
- Responsible for handling registration fees, travel arrangement, and competition approvals.
- Will supervise active members safety, ensuring the code of conduct is rightfully followed.
- Help students understand the importance of academics, international relations, global issues, and United Nations procedures.
- Oversees student leaders who will run day-to-day meetings and peer training.
- Assist with budgeting, fundraising, and securing school and community resources.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be 21 years of age, or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Complete and submitted BVSD online application.
- Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.
Preferred:
- Must be available after school, evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of all aspects of high school activity programming.
- Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with high school students.
Salary Information:
BVSD engages in a salary placement process vs. a salary negotiation process. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience and education.
