Summary:
The Office Assistant responsibilities include greeting all visitors, maintaining a professional office, preparing communications, assisting with technology needs, supporting students, teachers and administrators. Health room responsibilities are also required on a periodic basis which include tending to sick or injured students and assisting with health room processes.
Position hours are 7:30 to 4:00 M-F. Wage is $18 per hour DOE. The position is supervised and evaluated by the principal. Children of employees may qualify for enrollment into Summit pending available space.
Qualifications:
- A college degree
- Experience working directly with students, preferably in an academic setting
- Strong skills in collaboration, coordination, technology, and organization
- An understanding and passion for working with middle school students
- Spanish language abilities a plus
- A dedication to supporting students in academic pursuits
