    Summary:
    A BVSD teacher demonstrates a strong knowledge of the curriculum and content area while positively impacting student achievement through innovative instructional strategies and effectively managing the learning environment.

    Qualifications:
    Required:
    -Currently hold a Colorado teaching license or have licensure application in process with appropriate endorsement in: Music (must upload license or in process documentation to application)
    -Completed and submitted BVSD online application

    Preferred:
    -Comprehensive Band background: (instruments, literature, pedagogy, administration, inventory, program planning)
    -Elementary and Secondary Band teaching experience
    -Work with other music and drama department faculty on school productions and performances
    -Committed to maintaining and strengthening all aspects of the school music program
    -Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Salary Information:
    -Salary Placement varies according to experience and education.
