Elementary Spanish Teacher - .45 FTE
Horizons K-8 School
This is a .45 FTE position teaching K-6 introduction to Spanish. Hours and days worked are based on elementary scheduling priorities, generally Mon-Thurs, 11:30 am to 3:45 pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Teach K-6 Spanish, focusing on exposure to Spanish language and culture
* Participate in other school based activities as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, with valid and current state teaching license, and highly qualified content knowledge. Substitute license accepted. Intermediate to advanced knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language
- Enthusiasm to help students K-5 learn and explore Spanish language and culture
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Two or more years of Elementary Spanish teaching is preferred but not required.
Skill/Knowledge/TechnologyProficient with google applications and gmail for communications. 21st Century Technology use in the classroom.
Salary: Based on experience, education level, and placement on the Horizons K-8 Salary teacher schedule.
