-Provide ELD embedded professional development for schools
-Support administrators with ELD planning and instructional improvement
-Develop and facilitate professional development for all levels of schools as well as administration
-Work with staff to progress monitor language development for English learners of all levels
-Collaborate with colleagues in all departments in creating ELD connected professional development
-Follow state legal requirements, school, district, and building policies and procedures
-Review data to ensure lessons that provide what ELL students need
-Assist teachers, administrators and parents in understanding data and its connection to ELD student achievement
-Colorado teaching license with ELD endorsement (or licensure application in process with CDE)
-Minimum of 5 years of current, successful teaching experience
-Completed and submitted BVSD online application
-Bilingual and Biliterate skills in Spanish/English
-Strong educational background in English Language Development
-Strong knowledge of ELD current research and best practice
-Ability to work well with administrators and teachers in a coaching capacity
-Experience with working within small and large groups, such presentations and coaching
-Accommodate a flexible work schedule
-Knowledge of TAG, special education, and MTSS
-Understanding of WIDA Standards and the embedded connection to Colorado Common Core State Standards
-Knowledge of ACCESS testing requirements for state of Colorado
-Knowledge of Department of Justice Guidelines/Office of Civil Rights Requirements for meeting academic needs of ELLs
