    1.00 FTE - 12 month/261 day work year
    Professional/Technical - Salary Range: 1 ($53,149 - $79,723)
    Temporary Position: (9/30/21-5/31/22)

    The Recruiting Specialist works directly with the Recruitment Manager to create and maintain a comprehensive system that allows the Boulder Valley School District to attract a diverse pool of candidates for each job opening, recruit high quality candidates from across the nation, and create and maintain hiring protocols to ensure that the best candidates are selected.

    -Build and maintain strategic professional networks utilizing local networks, recruitment websites and other social media platforms and resources.
    -Implement programs and strategies to foster talent development by identifying talent gaps and promoting training opportunities within the organization in partnership with the District Professional Learning Department.
    -Assist new employees with the onboarding process; summarize benefit eligibility, leave plans, pay increases and other related topics and familiarizing new employees with district operations and processes. Perform onboarding and exit interviews to gain an understanding of the employee's experience with BVSD.
    -Partner with hiring managers to understand business requirement needs in order to establish or enhance candidate pipeline. Partnering with managers/supervisors on updating job descriptions and postings to match current job responsibilities and requirements.
    -Evaluate, recommend and implement process improvements on the recruiting systems currently in place. Run queries to gather data for evaluation of systems and recruiting efforts, building reports on the data. Assist in the market review process, noting trends in the market influencing candidate pools.
    -Attend and assist in coordinating events for recruiting and district recognition.
    -Telephone and email support for employees and applicants.
    -Screen applicant pools based on the qualifications and requirements of the job
    -Perform other duties as assigned.

    -Bachelor's degree or 3+ years experience in HR or Marketing
    -Valid Colorado Driver's license
    -Computer literate
    -Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English
    -Complete and submitted BVSD on-line application

    -Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, marketing or similar.
    -Experience working in PK-12 Education
    -Experiece working in ERP systems
    -Marketing experience
    -Proficiency in Windows-based MS Office programs and Google
    -Demonstrated ability in reviewing data for logical consistency
    -Demonstrated ability in preparing and maintaining records, files and reports
    -Well organized with ability to prioritize tasks
    -Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individual
    -Ability to work within team structure to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and completeness of projects

    Salary Information:
    -Salary Placement varies according to experience and education.
