    Peak to Peak Charter School - Executive Director of Education

    Peak to Peak seeks an exceptionally qualified academic leader to join the school’s unique two-person executive team. The Executive Director of Education is charged with overseeing all instructional matters while partnering with the Executive Director of Operations who is responsible for the financial and business health of the school.

    The K-12 Executive Director of Education is responsible for providing strong, decisive, energetic leadership to all levels of the school, and is charged with the overall organizational operation and leadership within the boundaries established by the board of directors. The Executive Director of Education is responsible for upholding the vision and mission of the school, and ensuring that the strategic plan is implemented accordingly. The role of the Executive Director of Education is one of a visionary leader who promotes a healthy climate of open communication with all stakeholders and who engenders confidence by being trustworthy, accessible and visible. The K-12 Executive Director of Education is the primary link between the school and the board of directors, and plays a significant role in setting the climate for the entire K-12 program. The Executive Director of Education has responsibility for all shared educational resources for the K-12 school. This person reports to the board of directors and serves as a non-voting member of that board. The EDE will cultivate a positive P2P culture and climate that promotes challenge and accountability supported by data driven decisions.

    Salary:
    The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000. Peak to Peak also offers paid time off, paid medical and dental benefits flexible spending plan, short and long term disability insurance, participation in the Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association pension plan, voluntary vision insurance, voluntary retirement savings plan, employee assistance program, paid annual leave and paid sick leave.

    Compensation and Benefits:
    Peak to Peak offers competitive pay and a robust total compensation package including:
    -MEDICAL: There are three options for Medical coverage. Peak to Peak pays the full cost of this benefit for you as the employee.
    -DENTAL: Dental insurance is provided by Delta Dental of Colorado. Peak to Peak pays the full cost of this benefit for you as the employee.
    -LIFE/AD&D: You are provided a $50,000 group term life insurance through CIGNA Life Insurance Company. Peak to Peak pays the full cost of this life insurance policy.
    -STD/LTD: Peak to Peak pays the entire cost of both short and long-term disability benefits.
    -PERA: Administered by Colorado PERA, this is a tax deferred retirement account to which you contribute 10% of your monthly earnings. Additionally, Peak to Peak contributes 20.9% to the PERA pension trust fund on your behalf.
    -VOLUNTARY VISION: EyeMed is the voluntary vision program available to Peak to Peak employees.
    -RETIREMENT OPTIONS: You have the following options to participate in deferred income for retirement purposes: PERA Plus 401 (k), AXA Equitable 403(b) and PERA 457.
    -MEDICAL and DEPENDENT CARE FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT: This account allows you to save money for unreimbursed medical expenses or dependent care expenses to be used within the plan year (July to June) on a tax exempt basis. This reduces your taxable income.
    -TIME OFF COMPENSATION: As a 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employee you are provided with 10 days of Paid Annual Leave Time. If your position is less than 1.0 FTE, your leave time will be pro-rated accordingly based on your FTE. Additional Paid Leave from work (Bereavement pay, Jury Duty pay, paid Professional Development Leave)
