Ryan Elementary STEAM School
The MTSS School Coordinator/Intervention position requires a commitment to accelerating all students to grade level proficiencies using an in-depth understanding of the theories of literacy and math instruction. The MTSS School Coordinator/Interventionist will work closely with school administration to develop and streamline the MTSS process for the school, ensure the use of data for decision making, and planning/carrying out interventions with fidelity. The School Coordinator/Interventionist will work closely with other school interventionists, classroom teachers, parents to support a school wide systematic approach to increasing student achievement.
-Work with administration to continue to develop and implement MTSS systems.
-Coordinate weekly intervention team meetings to review data, ensure fidelity in interventions, and assign students to the appropriate intervention needed.
-Work with Literacy specialists to develop and document literacy interventions and prepare data to assess effectiveness of interventions.
-Support teachers to conduct screening/diagnostic assessments in reading, writing and math and use body of evidence data to determine specific learning outcomes.
-Conducts ongoing progress monitoring assessments for each student and enters student data into an online data management system on a regular basis.
-Provide leadership and professional development for teachers to use high leverage instructional strategies, online resources, and assessment tools.
-Positively impacts student achievement through innovative, data driven, and research based instructional strategies.
-Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the curriculum and content area.
-Effectively manages the learning environment.
-Values student diversity and support the unique learning needs of each individual student.
-Exhibits a growth mindset through participation in high quality professional learning.
-Works collaboratively with administration, colleagues, families and community.

-Perform other duties as assigned.
-Currently hold a Colorado teaching license or have licensure application in process.
-Minimum of three years as a classroom teacher or interventionist.
-Completed and submitted BVSD online application.
-Strong knowledge of the MTSS process.
-Training and experience in intervention programs for math and reading.
-Ability to function well in self-directed activities, work collaboratively, and take initiative to complete tasks.
-Evidence of strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
-Understanding and appreciation for diversity and equitable instructional practices.
-Knowledgeable and articulate about strategies utilizing cultural responsive and cultural proficiency approaches.
-Dedication to high standards of excellence and the success of all students and ability to differentiate instruction for students.
-Ability to work collaboratively with central office staff, school administrators, teachers, students, parents and community members.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
-Skilled in group facilitation, coordination, and leadership.
-Ability to study, analyze, and synthesize data in order to identify student achievement areas of strengths and weaknesses as well as program effectiveness.
