1.0 FTE - 220 day work year
Professional/Technical - Salary Range: 3 ($57,466 - $86,198)

Coordinate and provide leadership for School Nursing Practice and the Health Services Department.
-Provide leadership, management, coordination and policy development of school nurses and health paraprofessionals.
-Responsible for nursing staff evaluation process to develop goals and objectives, linking the district Strategic Plan and Success Effect to state initiatives for health and health services.
-Participate in district-level school health policy development, implementation, and evaluation.
-Ensure legal and safety compliance for Health Services.
-Monitor and evaluate quality assurance outcomes for nursing services.
-Supervise nursing team and the training and orientation for new Health Services staff.
-Provide budget oversight and support yearly budget development process as well as assist with monitoring expenditures.
-Act as liaison for Director of Health Services as directed.
-Perform other duties as assigned
-Masters degree in: Nursing
-Minimum of five years experience in: School Nursing
-Minimum of two years experience supervising nurses
-Special Service Provider with a School Nurse License
-DORA Registered Nurse License
-Complete and submitted BVSD on-line application
-Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English
-Valid Colorado driver's license
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-High proficiency in Mircrosoft Office Suite, Google programs and presentation programs
-High organization skills with proven ability of follow through and time lines
-Experience with staff supervision and evaluation
-Experience attending to adult learners and interdisciplinary responsibility, both district/internal and community
-Salary Placement varies according to experience and education.
