EC: Positions available at Arapahoe Ridge High School.
CMS: Positions available at Eisenhower, Meadowlark, Heatherwood, Nederland and Eldorado PK-8.
This position provides opportunities for advancement with ongoing training throughout the school year.

-Provide a positive early learning environment for children ages 0-5 and adheres to the Colorado Department of Human Service (CDHS) Division of Child Care and Boulder County Health Department rules and regulations.
-Assists students with daily school work.
-Assist with creating a warm, friendly, and cooperative learning environment in which children and families feel comfortable and secure.
-Maintain compliance with the Colorado Department of Human Services Child Care licensing rules and regulations
-Safely and effectively manages the learning environment
-Maintain confidentiality and a high level of ethical behavior and professionalism
-Provide daily individualized personal care to young children and ensure that child care routines are carried out in a manner that is prompt, hygienic, and consistent with child development principles and health and safety regulations and best practices. This includes routines related to diapering, hand washing, eating, napping and transitioning between activities.
-Ensure that parents receive adequate information about their child's experiences at the center through daily contacts and regularly scheduled parent conferences.
-Participate in trainings, workshops, in-services, professional learning community meetings for ongoing learning
-Perform other duties as assigned
-High School diploma or equivalent
-Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English, must pass English component of interview process
-Completed and submitted BVSD online application
-Must meet or exceed the education and experience requirements for Staff Aide as established by the Colorado Department of Human Services ((Rule 7.702.44A as of 1/17/19).
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds, diaper, feed, complete other delegated health care duties
-Criminal background check required for hire
-Completion of CPR, First Aid and Standard Precautions prior to starting
-Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
-Minimum of one year proven experience with children ages 0-5 in a childcare setting
-Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
-Experience working successfully as a team member
-Ability to communicate effectively, orally and written
-Ability to work successfully with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
-Experience in maintaining CDHS licensing requirements
-Understanding and commitment to maintaining the principles outlined in the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Code of Ethics which includes strict confidentiality and a high level of ethical behavior and professionalism
-Technology and software skills and experience–(Google)
-Pay Rates based on 2019-2020 pay schedule
