Food Service Driver - Temporary Position 12/17/18 - 5/23/19
.625 FTE - 25 Hours Per Week
Hourly Pay Range - $14.24 - $19.16

Food Service Driver is responsible for checking, loading and delivering site orders from the warehouse and/or Regional Production Facilities and delivering them to all Food Services sites throughout the district. The Food Services Driver will be performing according to established policies and procedures. The scheduling and routing may vary depending on the specific needs of the Food Services Department. This temporary position will require the driver to transport food between Nederland Middle/Senior High and Nederland Elementary schools. The driver will assist with the serving and clean-up of lunch service.
-High School diploma or equivalent
-Completed and submitted BVSD online application
-Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English, must pass English component of interview process
-Minimum of one year experience in: Delivery Driving work and/or Food Service Work
-Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License and clean driving record that meets BVSD insurability requirements
-Must pass post offer physical
-Must pass FS Online Training Assessment by completion of probationary period
-Must acquire a current Serve Safe certificate upon hire and every 5 years thereafter
-Ability to safely operate a hand truck and electronic lift gates
-Ability to operate a pallet jack within 1 month of hire
-Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
-Minimum of three years experience in: Delivery Driving work and/or Food Service Work
-Ability to drive refrigerated box truck
-Understand and follow all HACCP SOPs
-Ability to read and discern labels and stock descriptions on pick, deliver, and inventory paperwork
-Basic skills: personal computing, keyboarding and word processing; critical thinking and problem solving skills
