Color Me Smart Pre-School Age Care (SAC) Assistant Supervisor
Multiple positions will be available at various school locations throughout the 2019/2020 school year

The Color Me Smart (CMS) PreSAC Assistant Supervisor provides direct supervision of children including assisting in implementation of a developmentally appropriate, play based child care program while following Colorado Department of Human Services Child Care Center Rules and Regulations. They also provide supervision during lunch and recess.
-Assist in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate, play based program
-Ensure the safety of children
-Assist in maintaining compliance with licensing guidelines set by the Colorado Department of Human Services, local County Health Department and School District policies and procedures.
-Participate in trainings, workshops, in-services, professional learning community meetings for ongoing learning
-Maintain confidentiality and a high level of ethical behavior and professionalism
-Maintain positive working relationships with school personnel
-Utilize computer and software applications for at least taking attendance, required trainings, and timesheets.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
-Minimum of one year experience in: Early Childhood/K-2
-General knowledge in Early Childhood Education and best practices including children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development as well as children with special needs
-Knowledge and skills in classroom management tools, including supporting children with special needs
-Ability to communicate orally and written, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with all people including those from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds
-General knowledge of the State of Colorado Child Care Licensing rules and regulations and county health department guidelines
-Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
-Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds to assist children in toileting along with other delegated health care duties
-Technology and computer proficiency in multiple software applications–(Google)
-Meet or exceed the education and experience requirements for Early Childhood Teacher as established by the Colorado Department of Human Services (Rule 7.702.44A as of 1/17/19) Review the Early Childhood Teacher qualifications to determine how you qualify for this position as there are several ways to qualify. -Minimum of one year experience in an Early Childhood setting
-Minimum of six months experience in a licensed child care program
-Current CPR/First Aid Certification
