Hourly Pay Rate: $13.67 - $21.27
Hours range from 20-40 hours weekly

School Age Care (SAC) - positions available at Aspen Creek PK-8, Birch, Coal Creek, Douglass, Eldorado K-8, Emerald, Fireside, Heatherwood, Kohl, Lafayette, Meadowlark, Mesa, Monarch PK-8, Pioneer, Ryan, Sanchez, Eisenhower, Flatirons, Nederland, Bear Creek, Columbine, and University Hill.

The Child Care Staff provides direct supervision of children in early childhood and/or school age care settings. This includes assisting in implementation of a developmentally appropriate, play based child care program while following Colorado Department of Human Services Child Care Center Rules and Regulations.
-Assists students with daily school work.
-Assist in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate, play based program.
-Ensure the safety of children.
-Assist in maintaining compliance with licensing guidelines set by the Colorado Department of Human Services, local County Health Department and School District policies and procedures.
-Participate in trainings, workshops, in-services, professional learning community meetings for ongoing learning.
-Maintain confidentiality and a high level of ethical behavior and professionalism.
-Maintain positive working relationships with school personnel.
-Utilize computer and software applications for at least taking attendance, required trainings, and timesheets.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Utilize computer and software application for attendance, trainings, timesheets, and daily school work learning with students.
-Knowledge and skills in classroom management tools, including supporting children with special needs.
-Ability to communicate orally and written, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with all people including those from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds to assist children in toileting along with other delegated health care duties.
-Technology and computer proficiency in multiple software applications–(Google)
-Minimum of 460 hours of experience with a group of 3 or more school aged students (must provide a letter from employer verifying hours).
-Minimum of one year experience in an Early Childhood setting.
-General knowledge of the State of Colorado Child Care Licensing rules and regulations and county health department guidelines.
-Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
