    Responsibilities:

    -The Campus Monitor performs routine security work safeguarding the school building against loss and/or damage and other miscellaneous duties as assigned
    -Maintains student discipline in and around the school
    -Patrols and supervises student areas, including bathrooms and high traffic areas
    -Establishes a trusting relationship with as many students as possible
    -Escorts students with problems or those who violate school rules to the school office
    -Assist the school administration with projects related to school safety
    -Perform physical work for extended periods of time, often under stressful circumstances and/or under adverse weather conditions
    -Learn and apply rules, regulations and practices

    Qualifications
    Required:

    -High School Diploma or equivalent
    -Complete and submitted BVSD online application
    -Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English, must pass English component of interview process

    Preferred:

    -Computer experience (MS Office)
    -Course work in human relations
    -Requires constant walking, standing and frequent bending
    -site specific additions (optional)
